You learn from your peers, and they also learn from you. Therefore, this study was proposed to determine the effects of peer pressure on the academic performance of Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences Strand students. A qualitative method was used as the research design for the study. We utilized purposive sampling to gather the information of respondents from different sections. This study used a Likert scale questionnaire to gather the information needed in the study. The results showed that the students were undecided whether peer pressure affects their academic performance and class participation. Peer pressure affects the student’s examination scores, that is, they have a low score. Meanwhile, the effect of peer pressure on the attendance of the students is tardiness. The results showed that students are undecided whether peer pressure affects their academic performance and participation in class.
