Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the various benefits and acceptability of the product to teachers and students. The data gathered from the study will help the researchers in knowing if the pan de langka is acceptable as a new product. The percentage of each acceptability was described by determining the means. A total of60 respondents, including teachers and students inBestlink College of the Philippines, were involved in the study. This study focused on special pandesal. Most Filipinos enjoy their everyday life eating pandesal; it is also considered one of our staple foods in every household. Somepeoplecannot spends a day without eating pandesal. All over the country, you can find people eating pandesal in different ways. However, but dipping pandesal in hot coffee is the most famous way, following the famous quotation,“walang matigas na tinapay sa mainit na kape.”As the years go by, pandesal has changed. We created a new flavor of pandesal, and we hope that this is an acceptable product for Filipinos. Simple random sampling was used here to select the respondents. In terms of taste, the composite weighted mean was higher, which indicated that students were more aware of jackfruit. Different scale but same verbal Entertainment In terms of appearance, the student had a higher composite weighted mean than teachers, with the verbal interpretation of moderately agree. In terms of the nutritional value, the composite weighted mean was the same for teachers and students, with the verbal interpretation of strongly agree. In terms of aroma, the composite weighted mean was the same for the students and teachers. In our pandelangka, we used langka fruit, which as we know is seasonal. Hence, we suggest using jackfruit powder and flavoring in case jackfruit fruit is unavailable. We also suggest that when extra jackfruit is available, it can be stored and made into sweet jackfruit. This result was answered by the statement of the problem because of the. Hence, we know that our product is acceptable to people. The answers of students and teachers answers were balanced, and some of the answers of the students were the same as those of teachers.
