Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the relationship between human relations and the sales performance of MG Motors dealers. Recognizing the role of a car dealer in communicating and performing well, it is important to understand how a car dealer's human relation skills influence the company’s sales performance. By examining this relationship, this study aims to contribute to the existing knowledge base and identify effective ways to improve human relation skills that can be used to boost not only sales performance but also the relations of car dealers with people. Human relations refer to the ability to interact in a positive way with others in an organization. A descriptive research design was used. Purposive sampling was employed to select the participants. This sampling method is used when members of a population have the capability to become part of the sample. In this study, respondents were chosen based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria listed in the methods section. The respondents of the study are composed of people from the year 2023. One of the essential steps for the ongoing success of this research was selecting the respondents, which include 15 individuals from the MG Motors Quezon Avenue branch. Questionnaires are the best method to obtain intended answers to questions and properly operate the research. The results show that most of the employees have been working for less than a year. It is observed that turnover rates are higher than employee retention. One common problem among employees is the lack of conflict resolution, which is connected to open communication and empathy, both of which are crucial for conflict resolution. Active listening is highlighted as the most important aspect of effective communication. Active listening is the most important part of effective communication, as it serves both as an acknowledgment and encouragement in the employee-client relationship. Teamwork and open communication are key to achieving company goals. The study also highlights the importance of effective teamwork in enhancing overall sales outcomes, as well as the significance of empathy and understanding in interpersonal interactions.
