TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT UTILIZE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE TOWARDS AN EFFICIENT JOB ACCOMPLISHMENT

Abstract

Technology advancement utilized in customer service towards efficient job accomplishment has brought innovative ways to change how it contributes to a massive change in our industry. The hospitality industry has been greatly impacted by technology in many ways, from guest experiences to current operational technology. The study was conducted on the procedures and techniques we use to collect and obtain data; our research is presented in this chapter. The process of completing our significant study yielded the key data that we required to make informed decisions. Each procedure outlined in our research is included in the analysis and mapped based on how it will benefit each piece of knowledge. 1.1 The results show that there are 45 respondents. According to the data, the participants who were employed belonged to the age categories of 20–24, 25–28, and 29–32 years old. 1.2 In terms of the highest age percentage, 49% of the respondents were in the 20–24 age range, followed by 47% in the 25–28 age range and 4% in the 29–32 age range. 1.3 In terms of participants, the highest percentage was 51% male and 49% female respondents. 1.4 The duration of employment: 1 to 2 years of employment resulted in 45% of responses, whereas 3 to 4 years resulted in a 29% response rate, and 5 to 6 years resulted in only 26%.  2.1 Convenient access to everything: A system of seamless interaction that allows users to move between chat, emails, phone conversations, and social media communications using technology, with 71% of respondents strongly agreeing (SA). 2.2 Saving time/more time for important tasks: A digital dashboard offers information regarding average resolution times, with 71% of respondents strongly agreeing (SA). 2.3 Collaboration: Every corporate social responsibility organization has access to a common, centralized information source with good services, with 64% of respondents strongly agreeing (SA). 2.4 Improving communication: Collecting and reviewing user reviews can be done on an online platform, which enables them to keep upgrading their communication techniques and accommodate various customer needs, with 68% of respondents strongly agreeing (SA). The thesis posits that employees with greater training not only feel more at ease with technological advancements but also have a greater sense of empowerment within their roles, which, in turn, leads to increased job satisfaction and achievement.
