Abstract

The study examines the impact of workplace arrangements on employee satisfaction and retention. Employees with flexible work options may experience higher job satisfaction due to the ability to balance their professional and personal lives more effectively.  According to Code Submit (2022), a comprehensive study on remote work trends revealed that 75% of global workers believe that remote work has become the new standard for employment. This shift underscores the growing acceptance and preference for remote work, demonstrating its potential to reshape traditional office-based workplaces. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive research design, specifically utilizing the survey method to gather and analyze data. The research aims to evaluate workplace arrangements and employee satisfaction in relation to an enhanced retention program.  The study was conducted at Bestlink College of the Philippines, Quezon City, focusing on non-teaching employees from 14 different departments. A total of 44 selected employees participated as respondents. Data collection involved analyzing, classifying, and tabulating information to ensure an accurate representation of participant insights. The results shows that having a satisfaction with basic salary, having enough time to complete the assigned tasks within the scheduled working hours’, providing an additional training to improve the quality of work of every employees, and achieving flexible work schedule that allows to better manage personal responsibilities and commitments have an impact to the BCP employee’s retention. To maintain and enhance employee satisfaction while increasing retention rates, the following strategies should be considered:  Performance-Based Incentives – Offer bonuses or other rewards to recognize and motivate high-performing employees. Workload Management – Regularly monitor workloads to ensure they are fair and manageable. If necessary, delegate tasks or hire additional staff to prevent burnout. Continuous Training & Development – Implement ongoing training programs, workshops, or seminars to enhance employees' skills and performance. Work-Life Balance Support – Provide resources on time management, encourage the use of paid time off, and promote disconnecting after work hours to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.  By adopting these measures, the organization can boost job satisfaction, enhance productivity, and foster a positive work environment, ultimately leading to higher employee retention.
