Abstract

Interest in learning what influences consumer purchasing decisions in this market area has increased due to the growing popularity of electric bikes, or "e-bikes." The researchers look into how consumer purchasing decisions are impacted by the quality of electric bikes, taking into account factors such features, battery life, fraction control, use, and cost. 50 people who lived in Quezon City were chosen at random to complete our questionnaire as part of this quantitative study approach. Residents were categorized based on the types and frequency of electric bike usage, household members, and monthly income. Survey questionnaires were employed as a research tool, and statistical data such as frequency and percentage, ranking, weighted mean, and Chi-square were used. A study conducted in Quezon City involving 50 respondents examined factors influencing the purchase and usage of electric bikes (e-bikes). The findings indicated that respondents with higher income levels were more inclined to purchase e-bikes, with 32% of fixed-wage earners participating. The primary uses of e-bikes among residents included daily errands and transporting children to and from school.  E-Bike Preferences and Usage  Wheel Configuration: A majority (54%) preferred two-wheeled e-bikes over three-wheeled variants.  Household Size: Households with 3-4 members constituted 40% of the respondents, indicating a potential correlation between family size and e-bike usage. Electric bikes are among the simplest options for commuting to work or school, and the distance covered has little impact on consumers' purchasing choices as long as the ebike serves as a means of transport. Researchers seek to inform new buyers about acquiring an ebike by utilizing insights from current ebike owners regarding: battery, features, price, and maintenance
