Abstract

Cooperative learning is the learning process in which individuals learn in a small group with the help of each other. Cooperation will build interdependence and communication with others. We can express ourselves for who we are or say what we want to say. The present paper discussed the concept and salient features of cooperative learning. The researchers conducted this study to assess cooperative learning in Practical Research 2 subject. The researchers used quantitative research to emphasize the objective measurement, and descriptive research was used to describe the characteristics of the population or phenomenon that is being studied. We utilized purposive sampling to gather input and feedback from the 50 selected Grade 12 GeneralAcademic Strand students. Based on the table, with the weighted means of 4.15 for male respondents and 4.34 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that cooperative learning can be assessed through activities. With the weighted means of 4.37 for male respondents and 4.33 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that research output can be assessed for cooperative learning. With the overall weighted means of 4.26 for male respondents and 4.33 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that activities and research output are ways to assess cooperative learning. The respondents recommended choosing members wisely; providing material such as bond paper, printer, and monetary support; teach the process skills that you want to perform; design your member; give your member individual roles; define learning objectives for the activity; ensure that everyone in your group understands your topic; use different styles to learn how to use video, audio, and picture that can help students to learn more knowledge; make sure that each member is willing to learn; and make your quick but efficient.
