Abstract

The study explores the benefits of green office management, emphasizing eco-friendly sustainability practices. It examines demographic factors, potential advantages, and the impact of green initiatives on organizations. With climate change as a critical issue, businesses have a moral responsibility to reduce their environmental footprint. Green office management helps minimize waste, conserve energy, and lower carbon emissions while also reducing operational costs through energy savings and waste reduction. Investing in sustainable technologies and practices can lead to significant financial benefits. This paper examines the mixed-methods approach in educational research, providing a framework for its application in teaching and academic studies. It follows standard research procedures, including research design, respondent selection, sampling techniques, instrument utilization, and statistical data analysis. Most employees acknowledge that they already implement some eco-friendly practices, though not consistently. They are aware of environmental issues and are committed to improving their adoption of sustainable practices. However, they sometimes struggle with excessive paper usage, which can conflict with sustainability efforts and contribute to a disorganized work environment. The researchers recommend that Barangay 167 Llano, Caloocan City, enhance its recycling practices and minimize paper waste by adopting double-sided printing and digitalization. Digitalization will support the barangay’s sustainability goals and demonstrate its commitment to environmental responsibility. By embracing digital solutions, the barangay can reduce its environmental footprint, contribute to conservation efforts, and strengthen its reputation as an eco-conscious entity.

Additionally, the researchers suggest prioritizing proper training, resources, and infrastructure to foster a culture of sustainability. Implementing incentives, recognition programs, and accountability measures will encourage employees to consistently adopt eco-friendly practices, ultimately contributing to a greener workplace.
