Abstract

This study aims to assist restaurant owners and managers in understanding and adapting to evolving consumer demands. It offers strategic recommendations in areas such as menu development, technological integration, and service enhancements to improve profitability and operational efficiency across diverse dining formats. The research also explores the fusion of traditional culinary practices with modern innovations to elevate customer satisfaction and encourage brand loyalty. Conducted near Classic Savory Fairview Terraces in Quezon City, the study includes interviews with walk-in customers to identify current challenges and uncover potential opportunities within the restaurant industry. The study adopts a descriptive research design and involves 25 respondents affiliated with Classic Savory. It utilizes purposive sampling and a structured questionnaire focused on key areas including health and wellness trends, ethnic and global cuisine, menu innovation, product development, and accommodation of special diets. Data collection and analysis were conducted to examine how restaurants can effectively respond to shifting customer preferences in order to sustain competitiveness and relevance in the hospitality sector. To address the identified challenges, several strategies were found to be effective. These include introducing promotional campaigns to launch new menu items, implementing strict quality control procedures, and regularly updating the menu with seasonal and trending offerings. Furthermore, leveraging customer feedback to inform menu decisions, providing staff training on cultural and dietary needs, and enhancing marketing efforts for healthy and innovative options were also recommended. These approaches contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and help maintain a competitive edge. Classic Savory demonstrates notable strengths in maintaining customer loyalty and satisfaction. However, it continues to face industry challenges such as balancing traditional and modern menu items, managing operational costs, and maintaining food quality. Strategic solutions include offering healthier and allergy-conscious options, aligning menus with seasonal trends, ensuring consistent quality across all branches, and improving both food presentation and flavor. To sustain growth, the restaurant must continuously innovate while preserving core brand values.
