The Quezon City Government, through its Traffic and Transportation Management Division (TTMD), has implemented several initiatives aimed at improving road safety along Quirino Highway. These initiatives focus on minimizing traffic accidents, enhancing traffic flow, and ensuring pedestrian safety. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of these road safety programs and identify areas that require improvement to further enhance public safety and transportation efficiency. This study employed a descriptive research method, with data gathered from 50 respondents, comprising 30 commuters, 10 drivers, and 10 traffic enforcers. The demographic profile showed that the largest age group among participants was 26–35 years old (32%), while the smallest was 42–50 years old (20%). Based on the study’s findings, the following actions are recommended to improve road safety along Quirino Highway: Improve and maintain infrastructure to enhance safety for all road users. Expand public awareness campaigns to educate commuters and pedestrians on road safety. Strengthen enforcement of traffic regulations to ensure greater compliance. Implement ongoing monitoring and evaluation to address emerging road safety challenges. By adopting these recommendations, the Traffic and Transportation Management Division (TTMD) can enhance the effectiveness of its road safety program, reduce accidents, and promote a safer transportation environment along Quirino Highway. Road safety is a significant concern globally, especially in urban areas with dense traffic and complex transportation systems. Quirino Highway in Quezon City exemplifies this challenge, facing frequent congestion, heavy pedestrian traffic, and numerous vehicular accidents. In response, the Traffic and Transportation Management Division (TTMD) has implemented a road safety program aimed at enhancing traffic management, reducing accidents, and improving pedestrian protection. Evaluating the program’s effectiveness is crucial to understanding its impact and identifying areas for improvement. Given the mixed traffic on urban roads like Quirino Highway including public utility vehicles, private cars, motorcycles, and pedestrians, comprehensive management strategies are essential. Studies confirm that such road safety programs are vital to reducing risks and ensuring the safety of all road users.
