Abstract

Working while they are in school enables them to cover their tuition costs, purchase
necessities, and, if possible, assist their parents and siblings. Determination and courage give
them the strength to overcome whatever challenges they face and make it enough. And since
they work full-time jobs or part-time employment, they can afford to attend college or colleges,
which helps them obtain the experience they need to develop the self-discipline necessary to
become devoted and responsible individuals.


This chapter aimed to investigate based on the effects of part-time employment on study
habits among college students. To manually analyze the data, researchers sent
questionnaires to 3rd-year students of Bestlink College of the Philippines in order to collect the
necessary data. We analyzed data from a total of 100 students, and we compared the non-
working students to those who were employed part-time.


This chapter is the summary of the findings, a conclusion, and recommendations based on the
acquired and analyzed data are presented in this chapter. The findings were rated in
accordance with the table and graphs shown in Chapter 3 in order to determine and identify
the study habits of part-time students in any course at the third-year level.
