Abstract

In recent years, technology has affected every aspect of our lives. Security has been a major
concern in every home. Automated security systems are a useful addition to today's homes,
where safety is an important issue. Smart Door locks and Vision-based security systems using
Raspberry Pi 3 B, such as CCTV, have the advantage of being easy to set up and
inexpensive. Also, a security system has been developed that uses PIR sensors to detect any
unnecessary movement if the system motion detector is ON, which triggers the Buzzer alarm
and sends an SMS notification to the owner. For front door protection, there's a Smart door
lock composed of a Passcode, fingerprint, doorbell, and Front door camera using ESP32
Cam. The door will open with the use of a Solenoid Lock. When the wrong password is
pressed three consecutively, an error text is displayed on the LCD, and for 30, you cannot
click any number. Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi 3 B, Raspberry Pi Camera, ESP32 Cam, IR
sensor, and PIR sensor are used for this project. So, maximum security will be maintained in
the home.

The functional test results for used sensors and components indicate the detailed prototype's
design, circuit connection, and testing data. The Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno were checked
and functional together with sensors. Raspberry Pi 3 B, together with RPi (Raspberry Pi)
Camera and ESP32 camera as surveillance cameras, are successfully connected to the
internet. The Raspberry Pi 3 B on-board memory ranges from 256 MB to 8 GB random-access
memory (RAM) on-board memory ranges from 256 MB to 8 GB random-access memory
(RAM). The mobile application connected to the devices was worked within the 10-meter
range.

The system achieves the intended objective by monitoring the device using mobile phones;
when there is a stable Wi-Fi connection, the best response occurs. Smart door locks and
vision-based security systems using Raspberry Pi 3 B, such as CCTV, have the advantage of
being easy to set up and inexpensive, and also, a security system has been developed.
Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi 3 B, Raspberry Pi Camera, ESP32 Cam, IR sensor, and PIR
sensor are used for this project. So, maximum security will be maintained in the home.
