Abstract

This chapter of the paper presents the problem and its setting. It includes the background of
the study, related literature and studies, theoretical framework, conceptual framework, the
statement of the problem, the significance of the scoping study, and delimitation of the study.


The researchers found that all the raw data gathered from the survey conducted was
presented in table forms to allow the data to be viewed as a whole. All the collected data were
analyzed, and the results were interpreted through the use of analytical and logical reasoning
to determine either the rank, patterns, or relationships that are necessary to obtain the needed
results of the study. 1.1 Demographic Profile of the respondents in terms of Age, Sex, and
Civil Status. Rank one (1st) is the ages 18 and below with a total frequency of 9 or 30%,
followed in second (2nd) rank by ages 37 and above with a total frequency of 8 or 27%. Third
(3rd) rank are ages 25 to 30 years old, with a total frequency of 6 or 20% then, followed by
ages 31 to 36 years old, with a total frequency of 4 or 13% in the fourth (4th) rank. Lastly, in the
fifth (5th) are the ages 19 to 24 years old, with a total frequency of 3 or 10% out of the 30
respondents. In terms of the Residents, ages 18 and below rank first (1st) with a frequency of
9 or 45% out of the 20 respondents from the residents that we have. Ages 25 to 30 years old
come in second (2nd) with a frequency of 5 or 25%, for ranks third (3rd) ages 19 to 24 years
old with a frequency of 3 or 15% and at the ages 31 to 36 with a frequency of 2 or 10%for ranks
(4th), and lastly, ages 37 and above ranks fifth (5th) a frequency of 1 or 5% out of 20
respondents in Barangay 176 resident.


This chapter presents the summary of findings, the conclusion drawn, and recommendations
made for the study, which is to enhance the strategies Anti Violence Against Women and
Their Children Act of 2004 at Barangay 176 Bagong Silang Caloocan City.
