Abstract

Conflict is inevitable. It arises when there is disagreement and difference of opinions among
individuals that can potentially be harmful to any organization. People respond to conflict in
different ways because of their different types of goals, personalities, and skills. Conflict
management seeks to resolve the disagreement or conflict with positive outcomes that satisfy
all individuals involved. However, the perception of conflict is often negative. That’s how we
see conflict.

From the results of this study, leadership conflict got the highest assessment from
respondents, which means conflict arises through leadership management. The problems
encountered in conflict management are focused on lack of communication, concern,
understanding, and different beliefs or opinions that cause conflicts, and there are emerging
guides to resolve conflict and enhance better teamwork in a company or organization.

This study recommends accommodating conflicts because this can be a good approach when
facing priority conflicts in the workplace; collaborate in resolving disputes to analyze each
other’s interests to find a win-win solution. It will be good also to conduct training or workshops
that will impact employees. There should be a corresponding solution right away if conflict
arises. They must be positive and receptive to new ideas.
