Abstract

The research topic focused on an analysis ofthe students’ preferences as an academic source of information: library and the Internet. The researchers chose this topic becausethelibrary or the Internet isone of the most common ways to get information fromthe students in Bestlink College of the Philippines. The importance of this research topic was to improve the academic performance of students by using the library or the Internet as a source of their academic information. This study used a survey method. This study used the descriptive method because it is the most applicable in this research. This research did not control or manipulate any of the variables and only measured them. Based on the results of the study, by the researchers to Turning Plastic Bottles into a Plant Organizer create Eco-friendly Ambiance in Bestlink College of the Philippines in terms of the atmosphere (turning plastic bottles into plant organizers and hang inside the classroom will create a positive atmosphere and increase cold ambiance inside the classroom), outlook (turning plastic bottles into plant organizers and hang inside the classroom creates eco-friendly outlook, and it produces positive vibes in the students), and creativity (turning plastic bottles into plant organizers helps the students to be more creative in designing the plant organizer). The following recommendations were made by the researchers. In terms of the atmosphere, the researchers recommended placingsmall plants in the plant organizer made of plastic bottles to easily Tools take care of the plant and to make it less distracting inside the class to maintain a positive atmosphere and warm feeling for the students. In terms of outlook, the researcher recommended that the plant organizer must be made of the same types of plastic bottles to make it look uniform and not distracting. It should complement the color of the classroom to make it more beautiful. In terms of creativity, the researchers recommended that the plant organizer should look beautiful, with good colors and designs to make it more go well with classroom decorations. It should add beauty to the classroom. For the improper disposal of plastic bottles, the researchers recommended that there should be proper disposal of plastic bottles and other plastic wastes. There should be a separate bin for plastic bottles for those to be easily recycled by the students. For the lack of a recycling program of plastic bottles, the researchers recommended that the school should conduct a recycling program or teach subjects such as entrepreneurship, marketing, contemporary arts, and other related subjects to help them use plastic bottles or recyclable materials in their projects to lessen the plastic wastes and create useful materials out of it. The researchers recommended that plastic waste should be collected and made into a plant organizer. The researchers also recommended adding plants to the plant organizer and placing it inside/outside the room. The researchers also recommended conducting an environmental contest/program to engage the students to turn plastic bottles into a more useful material inside the school.
