Abstract

LMS, or Learning Management System, is software or web-based technology that organizes, carries out, and evaluates a learning process. This research study focuses on the interrelationship of the LMS on how it can be of great importance in bridging curricular lapses. The study used a descriptive correlational quantitative research design to investigate the effectiveness of the Learning Management System in bridging curricular lapses among the selected Third year BSED students of Bestlink College of the Philippines. The researchers used the simple random sampling method to select 50 from the population of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English Third Year students. This study used a standardized guide questionnaire to collect respondents' attitudes, experiences, or opinions toward the provided thesis statements. The questionnaire focused on the respondents' demographic information, determining the benefits of the LMS, identifying the expansion of knowledge through LMS, and evaluating the overall effectiveness of the Learning Management System. This research found that Learning Management Systems are an effective alternative for continuous learning and knowledge acquisition. LMSs serve as a bridge to connect many lapses, hindrances, and lacking in the education sector and can be developed according to feedback from students and teachers. LMSs are a tool for producing, managing, and distributing learning resources and are used by educational institutions and organizations to deliver hassle-free and smooth learning experiences. The study established framework guidelines for developing an effective LMS to improve the quality of the content further, providing more relevant materials and adding reliable material resources. Implementing the Learning Management System at Bestlink College of the Philippines posits several concepts and ideas that have been defined for the betterment and continuous enhancement of the platform. To identify these constraints, it is vital to consider the things that need to be improved and how to improve them. The administrators, teaching staff, developers, and learners are the key players in improving the LMS, and they must collaborate and foster the exchange of feedback to achieve a great cause.
