Abstract

INTRODUCTION

Researchers observed that in different organizations in schools, most of their performances failed. The researchers end up conducting this study to understand if the responsibilities of the club officers affect the success of their organization. This study wanted to seek how the responsibilities of club officers in terms of interests, communication skills, leadership skills, and position of duty correlates with their club performance in terms of teamwork, accomplishments, action plan, and consistency.

METHODS

This study utilized correlation research where questionnaires for student officers and club advisers were given to test the variables. To determine the significant relationship between variables, Pearson Moment of Correlation was applied in the study.

RESULTS

This results showed an interpretation of "Not Significant" since the computed p-value=0.523 was higher than the significance level of 0.05. The interpretation means that the club officer's responsibilities do not have a significant relationship to club performance. Therefore, the hypothesis given by the researchers which say "There is no significant relationship between the responsibilities of the club officers to its club performance" is accepted.

The acceptance of the null hypothesis may be due to other factors that are for in-depth research. The factors which were covered in the study that affect the success of each organization were the ones that they actually possess, resulting in their successful organization.

DISCUSSIONS

With the null hypothesis which says that there is no significant relationship between the responsibilities of club officers to the success of the organization, researchers come up with the idea that there are more in-depth factors that affect the success of the organization. Future researchers may seek for more factors influencing the success of the organization.
