Challenges of Teachers in Dealing with Electrical Installation and Maintenance Students

INTRODUCTION
Most students are lovely, intelligent, undemanding, and fully understand the constraints of teacher time. But just occasionally, one might encounter a student who is difficult to handle. The students are likely to trust teachers more, show more engagement in learning, behave better in class and achieve higher academic levels. Positive teachers will encourage their students in the process of learning and promote their desire to learn. The challenging student is more difficult to bond with others so it is important that teachers show their students that they like and value them. Anything is possible when the teacher has faith in his/her students.
METHODS
This study used qualitative research by conducting an interview with the respondents. Two subject teachers of the Grade 12 Electrical Installation and Maintenance of Tacurong National High School were chosen as the respondents. The researcher used a cellphone for the recording of the interview and as a tool in gathering data for determining the challenges of teachers in dealing with Electrical Installation and Maintenance students.
RESULTS
In classroom cleanliness of the grade 12 E.I.M students, it is difficult to implement this because one hundred percent of them are boys. Of course, it is manageable. When it comes to the haircut and uniform, E.I.M students should not have long hair and they should wear their complete uniform when entering the room so that they neat and presentable every day. In the attitude of the E.I.M students, it is important to have a good attitude and respect to their teachers. The number one problem of the teacher is absenteeism among the E.I.M students. The teachers were worried about how they are going to inject knowledge into the students if they are not there.
DISCUSSIONS
The results showed that the grade 12 E.I.M students have habits of absenteeism. The students in grade 12 E.I.M should develop time management so they can manage their time in school.
