Bullying as It Affects Classroom Discipline among Grade Four Pupils of Aes-Annex

Abstract

INTRODUCTION

School is a where children learn and mold themselves into someone they want to be. But that is not the only luxury that schools can give. They can also be a battlefield, a place of survival for some, where the famous and beautiful are honored and respected while the poor little ones are bullied.

METHODS

This study involves different methods and design to enumerate the behavior and scenarios of bullying and how it affects its victims. This study digs into the world of bullies and victims and the factors that propel a bully to hurt his/her peers as well as the research environment.

RESULTS

This study directly explains the reasons for and behaviors of bullied kids. 50 out of 171 students from Grade experience bullying. After the series of interventions such as proper counseling with the involved pupils, parents and class advisers, victims and bully pupils were able to change their attitude towards each other and to follow school regulations.

DISCUSSIONS

With proper implementation and continuous intervention, bullying will stop. With the proper involvement of the parents and concerned authority through close monitoring and constant counseling with the parents and pupils, bullying will be prevented in the entire school.
