INTRODUCTION
The important key to the success of one's child is education and the vital involvement of the parents is bringing their children in the right education. This study is focused on best practices in handling parents' concerns and involvement in their children's academic achievements of Grade 7 at Sta. Anastacia-San Rafael National High School.
METHODS
This research used a descriptive method. It aimed to ascertain the best practices in handling parent's concern and involvement in their children's academic achievement. The questionnaire is composed of five items about teachers' level of involvement in handling parents' concern in the academic performance of their children.
RESULTS
The results indicated that the involvement and encouragement of teachers to the parents are highly significant in establishing the good performance of their children. The academic achievements of the students in correlation to the involvement of parents are highly appreciated and recognized. The effectiveness of using a monitoring card and journal led to open communication, building rapport among teachers and parents.
DISCUSSIONS
Parents were encouraged to be involved both in academic and non-academic school activities. They were also informed about childcare that provides policymakers and parent-teacher communication. The devised materials must be continuously done to monitor and to improve the academic performance of the children.
