RESULTS
The data indicate that the community is much aware of the idea of Brigada Eskwela though unable to fully participate in the activity because community members are not very well informed of the whole program itself. Causes of low participation among the study population are farming activities and poor communication. The attitude towards their children's education and the teacher-community relationship is also low. The challenges of community participation in activities for the improvement of the school include lower household income.

The involvement of the community in Brigada Eskwela is generally low even though some attempts have already been made to reach out to all community stakeholders. The people attributed their lack of participation to farming activities and poverty among others.
