INTRODUCTION
People nowadays complain about the need for students to learn the mathematics equation. It is commonly mistaken as a mere nuisance for students in school. However, we wanted to establish awareness on how the application of Mathematics equation in our daily lives matters.
METHODS
The researchers used a descriptive type of research. This method of research involves the collection of data to test a hypothesis. Researchers' respondents were the one hundred fifty Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of Urdaneta City National High School. The researchers distributed the questionnaires to the respondent and they were given instructions on how they are going to fill them in answering each of the given statement to obtain valid and reliable information.
RESULTS
The students effectively applied mathematics equations in their daily activities based on the computed average weighted mean three and sixty-seven hundredths The researchers found out that there is a significant relationship on the profile of the respondents to the application of the mathematics equation in their daily activities in terms of their parents' highest educational attainment and strand/track. The researchers also found out that the parent's educational level, instructional strategies and methods, school contexts and programs, self-directed factors, arithmetic ability, and motivation and concentration factors affect the extent application of the respondents on the mathematics equation in their daily life activities.
