METHODS
This study utilized the stratified purposive sampling in selecting the respondents. The frequency distribution and weighted score were used to present the status of the attitudes and practices in gender-sensitive teaching pedagogy of the respondents. The researchers adapted the questionnaire developed by UNESCO Bangkok (2009) entitled "Gender in Education Network in Asia-Pacific (GENIA) Toolkit: Promoting Gender Equality in Education". The researchers also conducted classroom observations with the school head and head teacher before distributing the questionnaire. The respondents for this research are selected public elementary and secondary Master Teachers, Teacher III, Teacher II and Teacher I in the Division of Cavite under the small, medium, and big school category. The respondents are all teaching Mathematics. The study was limited to mathematics teachers and their attitudes and practices in gender sensitivity teaching pedagogy in the Division of Cavite Province.
RESULTS
The study determined that Personal Development and Training, as well as the Mentoring, Guidance, and Counselling to Learners, were the indicators needed in the proposed teaching pedagogy. With the observations of the classes conducted, most of them used the 2C, 2I and IR pedagogical approaches found to be suited for both female and male learners. The study addresses the awareness of the teachers on treating learners equally inside the classroom.
DISCUSSIONS
The study was focused on identifying the needs for improvement to cater to all kinds of learners. The study has proven its validity because it was conducted with teachers from different municipalities and sizes of schools. This is holistic research that will be of great help in enabling the learners for higher achievement.
