INTRODUCTION
Fraternities and Sororities are social organizations found in high school and colleges. They are also defined as a group of people uniting for common interests, activity, and purpose. Even if the membership in a fraternity or sorority is obtained while a student is still in his/her undergraduate degree, his/her ties continue with the group for life.
METHODS
The study used the descriptive design of research to answer specific questions regarding fraternities and sororities. The study used descriptive-correlation research design. Descriptive research involves the collection of data to test a hypothesis or to answer questions concerning the current status of the subject of the study. This design was used since the study aims to describe the students' performance and attitudes towards fraternities and sororities.
RESULTS
Teachers should monitor their students more closely and give more group activities to lessen their aloofness. Priming and motivational activities should be given more focus to enhance the interest of the learner. The school and teachers must provide awareness to each student regarding the proper selection of organization, clubs, etc. Counseling and proper guidance must be prioritized. A similar study may be conducted using an experimental method to test reliability and validity.
DISCUSSIONS
It is concluded that the effects of school fraternities and sororities to the class performance of students were identified. Based on the findings, the study habits of those students involved in fraternities and sororities were affected by two factors: hyperactivity and lack of eagerness to learn. Students involved in fraternities and sororities resorted to doing bad things because they are influenced and commanded by their co-members and superiors.
