Abstract

INTRODUCTION

ALMAZORA has been a distinguished name in quality trucks, buses, and AUV manufacturing. For more than 100 years since its existence, ALMAZORA lives with its name for its high-quality standards and craftsmanship. To maintain a powerful impact in the highly competitive world, we need to meet the industry requirements for automotive to get into the system of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The Almazora Motors Corporation is pursuing the International Organization for Standardization with an integrated Environmental Management System. Unfortunately, the Almazora Motors Corporation is not ready for that due to high fees for consultation and lack of qualified personnel for handling the requirements. With no further study or analysis so, the on-going preparation is unsuccessful. But now, through a Survey and SWOT Analysis, the Almazora Motors Corporation will become ready and equipped for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

METHODS

This study encompasses to determine the ISO readiness of Almazora Motors Corporation and to assess how the proposed strategic programs will be implemented. It is descriptive in design because it involves a collection of qualitative and quantitative information designed to investigate a present existing condition of the situation. The descriptive method is the efficient one for this nature of study includes gathering the required data.

RESULTS

The involvement of the whole organization of the Almazora Motors Corporation includes each division per plant. By means of surveys questionnaires, checklist, and interviews with the rank and file during break time and free time. The Supervisors and Managers will assess them so that they can formulate a strategic plan for improvement. On the other hand, this study is limited only to Almazora employees. The lack of data for this organization is an obstacle for a comprehensive analysis

DISCUSSIONS

The summary of the findings and conclusions is made through a SWOT Analysis, which resulted in creating guidelines and procedures on employee motivation and empowerment and conducting Annual Training Plan to Almazora Motors Corporation. These initiatives will help Almazora Motors become ready and equipped for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
