Abstract

INTRODUCTION

Going to school regularly is crucially essential for a child's education and social skills.

METHODS

The descriptive method of research was utilized.

RESULTS

Physical factors appeared to rank first although the researcher expected that it would be health factors which would come out as the foremost or primary factor for student absenteeism.

DISCUSSIONS

Distance traveled from home to school and feeling unprotected were highly evident as reasons for students' absenteeism.
