Abstract

INTRODUCTION

In today's generation, people in all parts of the world used the modern trend of technology. Many schools and teachers have not yet recognized-much less responded to the new ways students communicate and access information over the internet. Students report that there is a substantial disconnection between how they use the internet for school and how they use the internet during school days and under teacher direction. For the most part, the student's educational use of the internet occurs outside the school building and direction of the teachers. While there are a variety of pressures and challenges in improving internet access, students perceive this disconnection to be the result of inconsistent teacher policies regarding internet use.

METHODS

The proponent made use of the descriptive method of research since the action research seeks to find out factual information about internet use of pupils in Inosloban-Marawoy Elementary School. This method of investigation describes and interprets what is concerned with the conditions that exist, practices that prevail, and belief, trends that are developing in the subject area of the study.

RESULTS

The pupil-respondents showed a more significant number at the right age to use the internet. Another individual with different age level showed awareness on the internet. The pupil-respondent showed much interest in the internet as revealed in their perception toward fondness on the internet. Curiosity, on the other hand, served to be one main factor of the response given.

DISCUSSIONS

Age maturity, family income, type of community, status, and level of respondents play a significant role in internet use. Internet lie other optical media is sensitive enough to be used by children at this age. Most of the parents are not aware of their level on how to learn the program of internet use. A significant number of respondents showed much interest that the latter perceived better on the reasons of other clients on the internet why the number of students used the internet as part of their learning. The more significant number of times on how long they spend internet needs time and effort. It is already a part of their daily life in school and at home.
