A Study on How to Prevent SARDO's from Dropping Out of School

INTRODUCTION
Keeping students in school is generally seen as a public rule. However, some educators may feel relief when disruptive, unmotivated, or struggling students leave school, which results in smaller and easier to manage the class. Students may feel that dropping out is an escape from a hostile, uncaring, or boring school. Leaving school may give them a sense of control in their lives. However, this must not be the trend because life's opportunities are severely limited for students who drop out. Such students are more likely to be unemployed and to earn less over their working life. Considering the facts and information enumerated, the researcher conducts this study in her attempt to prevent SARDO's from dropping out of schools.
METHODS
The respondents of the study are the ninety Grade Nine students from Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School (SY 2017-2018). With the used of school records, SARDOs' were identified in each section, within the total of 35 students who are the subjectof this study.A survey was done utilizing survey questions, and the result was tallied and scrutinized accordingly. The complexity of the Survey Sheet was intentionally prepared to extract valid and trustworthy answers from the subject population. The specific outcome of the answers will be categorized into factors that affect their values for not dropping out of school.

The data presents the factors why students dropped out of school. Family and personal factors ranked number 1 with a computed weighted mean of 3.204, followed by School related factors and Community Factors, respectively.
DISCUSSIONS
The findings revealed that family and personal factors greatly influenced students from dropping out of schools.Based on the findings alternative course of action must be done to prevent SARDO's from dropping out of schools; the student should be guided in their time management; home visitation must be done to personally confer with the parents or guardians about the situation and the school must device an operant conditioning to give rewards to those who are early comers and reinforce consistency all throughout the school year.
