A Common Experience of an ABM Student

Abstract

INTRODUCTION

The research aims to identify the common experiences of an ABM student of General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School of the school year 2017-2018. The experiences include both internal factors (course requirements, teachers, and school administrators) and external factors (extra-curricular activities, personal matters, etc.).

METHODS

The researchers gathered information through a survey questionnaire with open-ended questions. The research is only limited to some of the ABM students of General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School.

RESULTS

The study revealed that majority of the students who took up the ABM strand dislikes the activities that the strand requires such as the things that involve math in spite of having the anticipation of these activities before they took up this track.

DISCUSSIONS

The study suggests that anticipation and readiness before choosing this standard essential. Students should be aware of the consequences, risks, and activities that this track requires.
