DISCUSSIONS

The researcher found out the intervention was easier to implement. The pupils were more attentive, especially if the teacher gave attention to their needs, followed up as to what and who were their companions and enlightened them as to their family ties. Close contact between teacher and parent is a significant factor in child development. Teachers should, therefore, find ways and means to involve parents in the teaching-learning process.
