Abstract

The Rural Bank of Atimonan (RBA) is one of the rural banks in Quezon province which is already established and has been in operation for a long time. The services of RBA include barangay loan, teacher loan, institutional loan, balikatan loan and secured loan. The methodology used by the Balikatan Loans is the Modified Grameen Methodology, which is primarily used for our Microfinance Group Lending, and is a customized MABS oriented methodology. It is expected that microfinance thru Balikatan method will help in the success of both clients and the bank itself. Group method or locally named as Balikatanis one of the most common methodologies for providing micro-finance. Group method primarily involves a group of individuals which becomes the basic unit of operation for the MFIs. The researcher will utilize the descriptive research survey method in town of Perez, Quezon with purposive sampling and questionnaire of five-point Likert-type scale. To determine the results, it will use Percentage, Mean and t-Test.
